The official certificate provided Andy Rubin, Android's project manager, in an interview with The New York Times. Google's previous statements, Flash said Android will be available when we're half of the year.
Compare the interview Robin closed iPhone system totalitarian regimes such as North Korea, said the openness of Android is free big advantage of the system. Asked whether he thought Android phones will be sold more than a situation in which iPhone or BlackBerry devices, Rubin said, "I do not know when that will happen, but I'm sure it will happen. Samsung C-5130: Simple Social
-Structure: Simple plus
The Model GT-C5130 Samsung looks similar to many other simple devices and displays the company's plastic building rotund it. The new slide is not impressive, but do not look too cheap and includes a nice surprise back patterned grip contributes both rugged looking and more stylish. The total weight of Machsary hundred grams total carry it easy to lay, although he slightly chubby.
Slide easily opens and displays under curved keyboard comfortable to use Achsachane, unlike other models, even typing on the top row of keys, it's kissing the bottom of the panel open, comfortable and without coefficient is - warts - and other high Slyedim. One side of the device is located on the other side volume key, an integrated rechargeable headphone jack connection, which means that your normal headphones, connecting with the 3.5 ", you can connect only with the adapter - a pity.
Instrument panel you will find the familiar buttons are used for a call, disconnect, right-button menu button annoying you turning the main screen to the multimedia page of the Orange - Trick annoying collected soon pass from the world. Pud means includes a confirmation button, Achsvenucp four can be set shortcuts for different applications. Overall functional external structure not specifically trying to impress Fortunately excluding unusual discrepancies (apart from the button serves to Orange) and allows easy and pleasant job. In terms of call quality we have no complaints, and we and the other side we heard each other clearly.
-Interface: Almost like a big
Device screen 2 inches of TFT display technology 262 thousand colors, data on the bottom line that does not provide a basic picture is very sharp. Exciting screen does not prevent the Samsung offer rejected customizations including structured themes, dynamical systems (including one showing a particularly soothing migratory birds on a pastoral background) option of building your own kit.
Busy with the device can display a calendar in front Schuss too big: eight customizable buttons, including direct access to common social networks like Facebook and MySpace as Frandstr less popular. In addition you can also set quick access to various Google services, Picasso and other network services Flickr, Achsahachpthoar a total built-in browser shortcut.
-Browser: really trying
With so many shortcuts, you should talk a little about browsing experience. Built-in browser from Access certainly trying to make up on the small screen and offers options for viewing full screen, as well as smart layout across, but even here the quality of the screen is not doing well, especially web pages images. Besides, a very large number of popular sites did not give us all access to and instead encountered alerting message from the browser that the site is too large - then Hupnenu after disrespectful to our homepage.
Customized mobile versions of sites were a good layout, all this considering the screen size limitations. Facebook pages, for example, are clear and linear way, as long as you have the patience to scroll to see all the updates. The interface also Djémila good looking laptop allows your mail, but nothing more. YouTube's mobile version allows - you guessed it - a limited look at the site, but videos can be viewed in a horizontal well, which on the one hand allows a more comfortable viewing, on the other monitor again illustrates the problem of the device. Overall good deals browser with most network tasks and considering the size of the screen allows browsing experience quite comfortable. The most irritating thing is, as noted, the fact that some sites do not display at all.
-Looking for a lot of camera functions
We could talk about all the advanced features of the camera of the handset -1.3 Mgipixl: We could talk about the possibility to choose between a manual white balance and auto flash or built-in effects it contains, including those that allow to display an image negative or to paint her feeding. We could talk about the state of night photography, photography Ahmuziyak photo options sequence. We could also talk about the editing function that allows crop images, rotate them and add Apakim of black and white or partial obscurity. We could but there is no point that Samsung's device provides a sharp and blurry images are missing will not save no effect. Good lighting too, we could not take pictures that were numb and useless animals, data that stood out even more photos Achsahabrno the computer screen.
The camera provides images of 1280X960 maximum size is reasonable by all accounts, what can not be said about the built-in video camera with a minimum resolution of 144X176. It's a plane? A bird? The video camera of the GT-C5130 will not help you tell the difference.
-Samsung understands music
The music player of Machsary actually surprised us for the better. Such devices as usual, all photos you may need to store your music on an external card, but the music you put where you are able to play easily in three different display types, including equalizer or the album. Player enables the creation of your own playlists Equalizer and also includes all the familiar options - pop, rock, etc. surround sound. Nice property allows to show the music on a toolbar on your desktop, just a shame that can not be easy to search and reach a certain song.
Speaker interior - delight passengers - a weak and rather disappointing, but headphones provide a loud and clear sound that can also remain silent ears. Achshenmachnu back to a reasonable volume, We were surprised to find a good sound effects Schedule Anaod rich possibilities of the player has provided us with quite an enjoyable listening experience. The biggest minus here, as noted, is dependent on Samsung's bizarre connection the need to drag us adapter (not supplied) in case we want to use other headphones.
-What else?
Samsung GT-C5130 contains a set of basic tools that can be found in some, but not for all competitors, including corporate, Bluetooth connection, voice memo recording option, RSS reader, and photo editing tools. All these work well and offer interfaces Eniniym, but rather we must have substantial but not yet fixed: like other simple instruments of the company, will also be able to search contacts by first name only and not by last name or characters using the name, too bad. The device also includes a tool to check e - mail also supports advanced security settings. It is easy to operate and allows easy access to e, but anyone interested in current link to his box will be disappointed, since the minimum test time by an independent mail device is every half hour - not enough for those who really looking for a device that will keep it connected to the world in real time. Additionally, it also does not include Wi-Fi connection.
Another nice tool that offers the device in a fake call option in case your son really oppressive discourse, can receive an SMS if the device is stolen and installed in your device and setting Sim recipients who send an SOS, that the two functions can certainly concerned parents wink.

Competition in the cellular market gears up
Shortly after its release Hayiped spoken of a conference held yesterday during which gave Apple a glimpse of the next OS of its mobile platform that includes the iPhone, iPod touch, new Vhayiped.
The conference began with some data given Steve Jobs about the company launched the new device a few days ago. Apple has sold about 450 thousand devices Ayeped, 600 thousand electronic books, and about 3.5 million applications for Hayiped so far.
The first week of the launch there has been more Hayiped than 3,500 applications for it and it seems that developers rushing to adapt their applications for the new device.
After viewing data for Hayiped continued flattering Jobs essentially Conference: Viewing the new iPhone operating system.Jobs select the first address to expand freedom of action given developers the development of applications for new operating system. Apple has chosen to expand the developer on the various components of the operating system Ulahgidylm Properties in 1500. In practice, the intention is application developers can now control and use the operating system-related components and thus give them greater freedom to create new things.
The new operating system entails different innovations for 100 users: digital zoom for still photography or video, changing the background image that appears behind the icons, Bluetooth keyboard support, acquisition application for someone else as a gift and many other innovations
However, Apple chose to focus on particularly significant innovations in seven new operating system additions and expanded about them during the conference
Multitasking
Multitasking is certainly big news of the new operating system. Jobs introduced the use of implementation property multitasking is not introduced by Apple, but that doing so is the best way he claimed.
To explain the delay in Apple's implementation of an elementary ability to become so in recent years the market Ahsmartpunim, said Steve Jobs that Apple implemented the copy and paste capabilities at a later stage, but the best from any device exists. Apple explored the possibility to give multitasking users only after finding the best way to prevent high energy batteries.
Use multitasking possible by double clicking the home button at the bottom of a narrow configuration to open the device which may be to choose between different applications.
Dark matter by the way that the essence of the double-click on the home button is used at this stage the Fast Forward speed dial menu. Multiple tasks will be available only recent generations of Cable touch faster processor holding their predecessors.
Folders
The introduction of the first iPhone in 2007 have not yet reached many of the store launch applications. Since the first OS and the iPhone did not support multiple screens. This changed shortly after its launch application store to allow users to install a larger number of applications onto the device. Current operating system iPhone permit the placement of up to 180 icons in a variety of different screens. But that increasing the storage volume onto the device as well as the launch of Apple Hayiped brought to think of a way which may be to increase the volume of applications beyond that currently proposed.
The new operating system will support the creation of directories on the device screen, a move that increasing the amount of applications can be installed up to -2160.
To create a new directory all have to do is drag one of the other application, which will lead to the creation of a library Aktegorielit on desktop
Support for libraries would allow a more convenient order and orientation in relation to applications for different users. For example if you want to play in the fifth screen you can now just enter the hairdresser games main screen.
Universal mailbox
The new operating system now supports mailbox unite several different accounts. Custodial possession of a user mail boxes of different providers can now access them all through the regular mail interface device. The new interface will allow the user to focus on one mail account if he wanted to, but also allow him access to all e-mail accounts in his possession. Interface also support the view file attachments by using applications that are installed onto the device.
EBooks
Book application device Hayiped began its new operating system comes to the iPhone, too. Ibooks will now purchase books and learn from each of devices including the location sync last abandoned the book. Buying books will once using the instruments and the book will be one after the other devices listed under the same account. However, unlike the big screen of Hayiped, it is doubtful whether people will do extensive use of reading books on a screen iPhone in its current form.
Enterprise Platform
Other changes would provide significant new operating system refer to secure the information onto the device characteristics more relevant for companies that are using the iPhone for other needs and applications.
For example, companies could now allow access to private servers and applications through mediation rather than Apple's. So the iPhone will support the new Exchange servers, version 2010.
Gaming Center
Most of the innovations presented during the conference yesterday, Apple leaked one way or another press in recent weeks as a component Shiutmao new operating system version 4. A gaming center as a surprise to most people who attended the conference and details about him did not come earlier. Apple had previously stated that it relates to an iPod touch, a portable gaming console for everything and switch it as such concern with the launch of his latest model during the last year
Today you can find 50 games available Abapstoar thousand, ten times the amount of games the way proposed for mobile devices that serve as a platform nature Ahkoanclut games such as Nintendo and Sony's mobility
Game Center games intended as a social network that will allow users to combine multiple games on Apple's mobile devices. The new service will be available until the end of this year.
A new advertising system
One of the innovations which were a little more comprehensive coverage during the conference is the new advertising service called iAd Apple. The new service will offer application developers to integrate ads into the built-in applications. To clarify the rationale for Apple to enter the advertising market the company briefly wore the mantle of its philanthropic goals and painted a delicate pink. She said that Apple really gets into the advertising market because it wants to create a beautiful and more comfortable interface for users, it wants to raise the bar for apps Free AVG Abapstoar.
Another prominent target company's explanation totally dropped the scholar. The new advertising system will give the company the decree Apple Earnings applications offered for free. What exists at the moment anyway Abapstoar and increases the company regarding the fund. But Apple did not only increase its profits. In fact, 60% of profits will receive advertising content developers built applications.
The new application system would lead to a significant improvement to the area right at the moment the outbreak of the stripes. There are also commercial applications, but currently structured way that clicking on them sends the user's Safari browser to view the advertisement's content. Apple will deploy the advertising content into the application so that watching videos or using built-in games. The change would put an end Lticachne advertising companies offered Abapstoar existing applications and to decree a handsome profit for Apple applications for free. Commercial construction was done by using - Html5 demonstration held during the conference are certainly very impressive.Apple signed the conference with providing room for questions from journalists. Those of you who ask themselves what about the support iPhone or Hayiped Adobe Flash component received a clear answer right CEO. Jobs was asked whether Apple will change its policy regarding support Java or Flash the new operating system clear and unequivocal reply was: "no."
New operating system launched during the summer for iPhone iPod touch devices, the system launched in the fall for Hayiped. Developer version is already available now. However, the operating system works fully only on the latest generation of devices company. Previous generations, such as 3G iPhone iPod touch, the second generation will run only some of the characteristics of the new operating system and support Abmultetskynge. First-generation iPhone not even mentioned during the conference.
One operating system to another. Mobile operating system, Google Handroid establishes its position as she manages to double its market share within three months.
As a result the online applications store the device continues to grow. Only during March's application store has added approximately -9000 Google and other applications that put the total applications in the store for about 27 thousand. Although a significant difference from -185 thousand applications are available at this time Abapstoar but is certainly indicative of a trend particularly fast growth.
Microsoft's answer to Google Von iPhone
Apple and Google after Microsoft also entered the mobile market. Accompanied by a new operating system was officially launched yet, Microsoft is expected to launch during a press conference be held next Monday in San Francisco and manufactures mobile devices.

Palm for sale
According to Bloomberg, the maker Ahsmartpunim looking for a buyer, when between Mateninoat HTC and Lenovo are also
Palm Perry also did not help: The Palm company reported Bloomberg was for sale, when the number of large organizations in the industry have already expressed interest in acquisition.
According to the report, based on the three people familiar with the subject, the company uses a group of Goldman Sachs and other factors in order to locate potential buyer, but not publicly released the desire to buy. Now, just rumors about the sale boosted the company's stock value of sixty percent and only last week.
Adobe and Apple on collision course
Apple will not support applications developed by Adobe's tools. Adobe, in turn, sends back a juicy curse. Format War crisis became The new operating system last week revealing Apple will not support applications developed by Adobe's programming platforms. This is another step in the struggle develops between developing iPhone Adobe, as she continues to keep her away from instruments it manufactures. With the launch of the developer version for the new operating system for Apple's iPhone has changed the terms of the agreement with the developer when it requires them to develop applications for specific development environments prevents them using Adobe CS5. Article 3.3.1 agreement to developers who wish to sign up Lapstoar states that applications are not allowed to use development environments that Apple does not know where. Apple lists the various languages, leaving the development environment of Adobe out of the gate. Post published the official Adobe blog, attacking the company claims Apple developers to slap them. 'Argument no longer revolves around the implementation of the Flash component, it is now that Apple prevents applications reach its devices based on them have been developed programming language. " Post goes on the way in which Apple actually subjugating the last move developers how dangerous it is taking the entire industry. Author of the article, I Brimlev, although he finished when he takes off for a moment the diplomatic tone and sends a juicy curse of Cupertino. The first time since the conflict between the companies broke it seems that Adobe starts to realize that it loses its comparative advantage for Apple. Hayiped's widely publicized launch last week brought a solemn declaration of a number of leading websites in the U.S. that they fit themselves in Apple's new device abandoning the Adobe Flash favor. Apple rushed to promote the sites to their list when it publishes its website. The popularity of the iPhone and use a common consumption of the network using cellular phones already have made it threatens the Adobe platform. Apple's insistence not to implement the technology on the iPhone Porsche to know many caprice once you reach the end user pressure. actual Apple has taken more and more clear policies against the Flash component sharply as she declares categorically that it is not interested in the device. The culmination of the campaign came earlier this year declaring the Hayiped Apple. Speaking during Jobs' company officials to a closed event Apple held Peres Jobs calling the teachings of the Adobe developers lazy bunch. He claimed that Jobs' most of the crashes on Mac computers due to an incompatible flash component cartridge operating system. Adobe Fight Apple directly underbelly iPhone users announcing contents are not displayed on their device planted on the island of Apple's collaboration with Adobe. The company held a conference last a few days before Apple launched with the next iPhone OS asked Jobs if Apple intends to change its policy towards Adobe Flash component with the launch of the system. His answer was short and clear: "no." Now comes the crisis between the two companies to record information, Achshapl application chooses to block programming components developed by Adobe and while Adobe declares publicly that the move along with the promotion of HTML 5 might hurt her business significantly.
After iPad, Rivals Offer Variations on a Theme
Just as Apple's iPhone shook up a complacent cellphone industry, the company's iPad is provoking PC makers and non-PC makers to fight back with new devices.
Google a search and advertising company is soon expected to begin selling its version of a slate computer, like Apple's iPad, while Nokia the world's biggest cellphone maker is planning to enter the digital book market through a slate-cum-e-reader as well.
Microsoft, the maker of computer software, is flirting with the idea of selling its own version of a slate, joining traditional computer companies like Hewlett-Packard that have already committed to such products.
In part, these companies are feeling the pressure to respond to the iPad, which went on sale April 3. But their decisions to develop the hybrid products also demonstrate their desire to expand their core businesses, and to experiment with varying kinds of business models and technologies.
For consumers, it could all be good, as more companies offer their version of the slate, a new breed of consumer electronics, in a design free-for-all. The products, which will generally cost less than $600, provide different, and in some cases unusual, features that reflect the companies' visions of what matters most to people.
"We're living in extremely exciting times right now," said Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo, the chief executive of Nokia. "It's quite challenging to define what industry we are in because everything is changing."
Historically, Microsoft has been the biggest champion of tablet computers, which let people scrawl on a computer screen with a stylus just as they would on paper. And over the last few years, the big makers of personal computers, like H.P. and Dell, have taken Microsoft's software and built such tablets. But their devices have been similar, and limited in what they offer. The software, based on Microsoft Windows, never seemed flexible enough to fit a variety of mobile computers.
Now there is much more software and hardware available to build low-cost, capable, hand-held devices, called slates, that are thinner, lighter and typically omit physical keyboards altogether.
Apple, Google and Nokia all have their own software platforms, with Intel, Nvidia, Qualcomm, Broadcom and Marvell rushing to provide the chips for this next wave of products. Meanwhile, Microsoft is considering building its own slate hardware to try to offer as cohesive a package as Apple and the other competitors.
Apple says it sold more than 450,000 iPads in the first few days after the device was available. Consumers were drawn to Apple's cachet and the fresh approach to computing that the iPad represents, with its elevation of a touch screen and entertainment over a keyboard and productivity.
But commentators and consumers have also been talking about what the iPad lacks -- for example, a camera and the ability to display much of the Web's entertainment content, like videos, if presented in the Flash format. The iPad has also been criticized for its inability to allow users to multitask, but the company announced on Friday that it will have that ability in the fall. Another drawback to the iPad is that it relies on a cellphone chip, with less horsepower than a computer chip.
H.P.'s version of the iPad is expected to be released by midyear. Notably, it will have a camera, as well as ports for add-on devices, like a mouse. Also, it will, the company says in a promotional video, "run the complete Internet," including videos and other entertainment.
Phil McKinney, the chief technology officer in H.P.'s personal systems group, said in a recent interview that the company had been working on its tablet for five years. It delayed releasing the product, he said, until the price could be lower.
The company's marketing department has been trickling out online videos of the device. This kind of early marketing is a change for H.P., which rarely talks about yet-to-be released products. Mr. McKinney, however, said H.P. had felt little pressure from Apple's early move and would release its slate when it was ready.
"I have one sitting on my desk," Mr. McKinney said. "We don't react or respond to competitive timing and those types of issues."
Acer, Dell and Lenovo all have slates in the works as well. But Apple may face the biggest risk from the offerings of nontraditional computer makers.
Google, for example, has been working with several hardware manufacturers to push its Android software, which was originally designed for mobile phones and is a direct competitor to Apple's iPhone operating system. The company also hopes to make its own apps marketplace available for new slate-like devices.
But Google is going one step further, exploring the idea of building its own slate, an e-reader that would function like a computer.
Eric E. Schmidt, chief executive of Google, told friends at a recent party in Los Angeles about the new device, which would exclusively run the Android operating system. People with direct knowledge of the project -- who did not want to be named because they said they were unauthorized to speak publicly about the device -- said the company had been experimenting in "stealth mode" with a few publishers to explore delivery of books, magazines and other content on a tablet.
H.P. is also working on a slate that would run the Android system; this has been nicknamed "the half-pint," because it measures about six inches diagonally, smaller than the iPad.
Microsoft has generated some Apple-esque buzz on blogs as well as through leaked videos of the prototype of its slate, the Courier. According to a Microsoft employee who has seen the device, the Courier is about as big as an ordinary paperback and folds out to reveal two screens. Users would be able to take notes on the device with a pen, and easily drag and share content between the screens.
But Microsoft engineers have concerns about the battery power needed to keep the two screens going, these people said. And internally the company is struggling to identify the right market. At first the idea was to market the Courier for designers and architects, but lately the company is thinking of a broader market of consumers and so would include e-books, magazines and other media content on the device.
Microsoft engineers have talked about getting the Courier out by early 2011, though no firm decision has been made to sell the product.
At Nokia, meanwhile, a team of engineers, designers and publishers are working on designing an e-reader, with the hope of making the company dominant in the digital books and apps marketplace.

Celebrity Cell Phones
The times when stars and celebrities were concerned about the gizmos as complement to their image have passed away long ago. Today, companies to produce different gadgets place their latest products in celebrities' hands. This is not actually an altruistic act. It is a well thought advertising policy.
Cell phones are among the top products to be gifted at different Hollywood events the most notorious being Oscar.
For example, this year Oscar nomination brought Reese Witherspoon best actress award together with a $900 Nokia 8801 cell phone. Nokia executives intended to promote their product among Witherspoon's 'mates'.
This already became a Hollywood tradition which is known as 'celebrity seeding'. Besides the fact that some celebrities agree to be the company's image, they are also 'forced' to be a company adopter by receiving the gift.
Offering gift bags or gift suites will set a company back $50,000 in entrance fees. Still it doesn't guarantee that celebrity will use that particular item just because he/she picks up the bag with your phone.
RAZR and T-Mobile's Sidekick are among the most successfully 'seeded' cell phones. They have performed well on the market. Though, you are not likely to see regular citizen with one of them.
At the time when other companies choose to appear in magazines like Forbes, People, Times and to show up at Entertainment Tonight, Motorola organizes showroom for celebrities only. This enhances personal contact with the customer and cuts off the prices for advertising.
A-listers and their cell phones
Fans may not be able to fit celebrities lifestyle, their clothes, cars and houses; but they certainly can afford some of the gadgets their idols use. Here is the list of celebrities and their cell phones.
1. Pink Motorola RAZR - Before it reached regular population, this cell phone was owned by Paris Hilton, Mischa Barton, Nicole Richie, Rachel Bilson, and Maria Sharapova.
2. BlackBerry Pearl - Tina Fey (30 Rock's), Jennifer Hudson (Dreamgirls) and Patricia Arquette (Medium).
3. Motorola MOTOKRZR Fire - Eva Longoria and Tony Parker. It was a gift of Motorola for Valentine's Day. The nice pair of MOTOKRZR Fire cellphones was packaged in a heart-shaped box. Other celebrities who have got the same were Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore, David and Courteney Cox Arquette, and Jessica Alba and Cash Warren.
4. Motion's BlackBerry Pearl - Jennifer Hudson received this cell phone in January at the Golden Globes together with the award for the Best Supporting Actress. Other stars that visited "Gift Retreat" room before the show were Patricia Arquette, Terence Howard, Adrian Grenier and Tina Fey.
5. Motorola's MOTORAZR V3i Dolce & Gabbana - one of 1,000 limited edition gold RAZR phones from Dolce & Gabbana and Motorola was made gift to Reese Witherspoon. The same cell phone seams to gain credits of Sharon Stone and Hillary Duff.
6. Nokia 8801 - Nokia provided Nokia 8801 premium phone to nominees in the leading categories. Among the happy receivers were Matt Dillon, Terrence Howard (Hustle & Flow), and Paul Haggis (Crash). The gift was completed by an offer of a free year of service. Five months later, this beautiful slider was also sent to Hollywood couple Eva Longoria and Tony Parker.
7. Palm's Treo 650 - Matthew Broderick, chef Mario Batali and musician Peter Gabriel are among those who were gifted new Treo by Palm.
8. LG's Strawberry Chocolate - The sleek design, digital music player and high-quality camera which are offered by LG's Strawberry Chocolate are preferred by A-listers such as Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Jessica Alba, Snoop Dog, and Hugh Hefner.
glofiish X800 Half way to perfection.
In 2006 a new player appeared on the market which began its work by creating its own production. From the title it is easy to understand that we are talking about E-TEN, the company which proved the need in functional and more important productive communicators in Windows Mobile. An important role in the product success played the component and detail provider. You should agree that the Samsung details are closer to Marvell (Intel PXA) than to OMAP 850 from TI.
Nevertheless the company started actively working on the market in that beginning of 2007 with the appearance of the new model glofiish X500. But at that time the brand was not widely known and was mostly noted by the enthusiasts of the technology. While many firms use the help of the PR agencies E-TEN chose the way that should be mentioned in the marketing books of the 21 century.
The most important step of the E-TEN company became the follower of the X500+ with less strict design and Windows Mobile. This model is glofiish X800.
Compared to the strict design of the predecessor, X800 looks much more casual but at the same time it does not have the modern tendencies. The body is made of silver plastic, black plastic. The device is performed in the form factor of the monoblock with the dimensions 113.6x60.3x15.9 mm and the weight of the device is 146 grams which allows carrying the phone in almost all pockets without too many disadvantages. When you take off the cover the communicator automatically turns off, this is the only way of turning off the phone. Under the cover you can see the powerful battery – 1530 mAc. The battery maintenance:
* 4 hours with the maximum display lighting or 6.5 hours with the medium lighting.
* 13 hours reading with the minimum lighting
* 16 hours music listening without the display lighting
In general it should work 1,5 – 2 days. Regardless that the SIM slot is placed not near the battery department, the SIM extraction is only possible with the extracted battery.
Motorola Rival A455
Few years back, the Qwerty keypad phone was only available in smartphone, however nowadays the Qwerty keypad is not belong to smartphone anymore, there are already have bunch of texter phone in the mid-range market. It is because texting has became so hot lately and thus there are more texting-centric phone hit on the market. Motorola, which is seldom produce this kind of texter phone also come out a new texting-centric phone – the Motorola Rival A455 lately. The device is available for Verizon Wireless.
Design
The design of Motorola Rival A455 is just looks like the original LG EnV with a slightly larger screen and no external numerical pad. The Rival is a somewhat deep, chunky it measures 97 x 51 x 18 mm and weighs 125 g sliding phone that sits in your hand like a little brick. On the front, there’s a 176 x 220 pixels, 2.2-inch screen, a cursor pad, and four action buttons. The Rival’s display is applying touch-sensitive technology so called ‘ segmented capacitive touch screen’ which the screen responds to very light touches, but it’s limited and only used with an on-screen dialpad to call someone. There is no hustle to sliding the QWERTY keyboard open, the spring-loaded mechanism work well. The keypad has f 4 rows of keys, with the first three containing numbers, letters and symbols, and the bottom row containing the center space and special function keys. There are special functions for accessing Mobile IM and inserting facial emotion icons into message. Overall, apart of the weight, Motorola Rival’s design is fine. The ergonomic is pretty good in this phones.
Features
The features in Motorola A455 is pretty standard. Considered the handset is for Verizon, thus there are some features that work only with the network like, GPS for VZ Navigator, VCast Music downloads, VCast Video streaming as well as Verizon’s standard messaging software. The threaded SMS and MMS, two simple e-mail programs that handle personal and corporate Microsoft Exchange e-mail in text-only forms. Also there is a basic IM program that supports AOL, Microsoft, and Yahoo!
The 2MP camera is somewhat slightly below average. The images look generally hideously overexposed. However, the camera also allow user to do video recording in tiny 176×144 videos at 13 fps.
The Rival still syncs with Rhapsody (a subscription music site that has offers rudimentary Verizon integration), and plays MP3, AAC, and WMA music files. Music through the rear speaker was nice and loud. You can also listen to music through a Stereo Bluetooth headset or by connecting wired earbuds to the 3.5mm headset jack. Watching video in this phone is unpleasantly. It is only able to play 15fps, lower-quality 3GP videos on the phone, don’t to mention MP4 video.

Mobile phone companies forced to cut rates
Mobile phone bills in the UK could fall by up to £800 million following a ruling by the telecoms regulator that would cut the cost of connecting from one network to another.“Termination rates” – the fee an operator charges a rival to switch a call from one network to another - currently cost companies up to £2.5 billion a year, raising costs for customers.
However, Ofcom is proposing that companies cut rates over the next four years, from 4.3p a minute to 0.5p a minute by 2015. It said it expected reductions to be passed on to consumers.
The current regime of termination charges was set by Ofcom in 2007 but is due to expire next year.
The price of mobile phone calls has already been falling, with rates declining from more than 23p a minute in 1995 to less than 5p today, but there have been ongoing concerns that the termination rates contribute to excessive profits.
Last year, the Ofcom said it was considering "radical alternatives" to the current arrangement.
In a statement, the watchdog said: "The proposals will also mean that both landline and mobile operators have more flexibility in designing competitive call packages, promoting competition for the benefit of consumers."
The move follows a consultation launched in May and will be finalised after the end of the consultation process on June 23 this year.
A spokeswoman for Ofcom said that the final decision would take into account further comment from industry stakeholders, but admitted that proposals at this stage did not tend to be “drastically altered” following further consultation.
The move is likely to be contested by the big operators, including O2 and Vodafone. Shares in Vodafone fell by 1.05p 150.95p this morning.
A spokesman for 02 said the company would be asking why Ofcom had changed its mind about the way it assesses the rates. The new rates do not allow operators to charge for so-called common costs, which include overheads.
However, it will benefit 3, the smallest mobile phone operator, and BT, the fixed line operator. BT has estimated that the extra cost of calling mobiles from landline phones comes to £750 million a year.
Stephen Lerner, director of regulator affairs at 3UK, said that the rates had acted as a barrier to smaller entrants into the mobile phone market. “It seems wrong that we have had to pay our competitors just to grow. This is a huge decision for us that will allow us to be a major competitor in the voice market.”
Almost 33 million households will be affected by the changes, the watchdog said.
The move comes after guidance from the European Commission which said that the rates at national level should be based only on the real costs an efficient operator incurs to establish the connection.
Ernest Doku of Omio.com, the mobile phone comparison website, said the ruling was "fantastic news" for mobile phone users on less popular networks.
However, he added: "It remains to be seen whether the major operators will attempt to recoup this loss in revenue from other sources, such as increased line rental fees or higher handset prices.
"Rest assured that the major carriers won't take this decision lying down and what the consumer gains on cheaper call costs, they may well pay for in other areas."
In a separate statement, Ofcom said that "subject to the outcome of a further short consultation" consumers will soon be able to transfer their existing mobile phone number to a new provider in just one working day, rather than the current two days. The watchdog said it expected the new system to be in place in the first half of 2011.

The multi-faceted Nokia N810 internet tablet has finally arrived on store shelves. This highly anticipated Linux-based gadget has more gadgety features than you can shake a stick at - including a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, built-in GPS, digital audio/video playback, Bluetooth, camera, MP3 player and even Wi-Fi capability for surfing and VoIP calling. Like the Nokia N800 Internet Tablet, its predecessor which runs Skype the N810 will come pre-bundled with Skype, making it one of the most powerful portable VoIP devices out there
The Nokia N810 gives you a truly portable Internet experience that's actually useful due to its large 4.13" color wide-screen display and touchpad screen navigation. It sports a 400MHz processor, Mozilla-based Web browser, and up to 10GB of memory.
The N810's browser has a Flash 9 plugin, and supports AJAX, which I don't believe any other mobile device can do, including the iPhone. The N810 also adds support for Windows Media codecs, which gives you access to more video content on the web. Besides Skype and Mozilla, other applications supported include Rhapsody, Gizmo as well as a few games. Gizmo, a Skype competitor apparently even supports video chat on the device.
